Welcome to week fourteen.
Hey! Are you sick of Easter eggs yet?
Rag & Bones: Death (Book Five)
I didn’t manage to finish the read-through of this. I’m about 60% of the way through. This is partly because I spent most of Monday morning trying to work out how to convert the file from Scrivener to Kindle properly. Eventually, I found out I wasn’t doing it wrong, there was a glitch in the recent update that didn’t add the cover to the book file and I had to download the software again. Anyway, that only gave me three days working on it before Easter, which wasn’t enough to finish. So, I’ll be continuing with that this coming week (from Tuesday on).
The fantasy novel is still coming along. Again, I only had up until end Thursday to work on this. I can’t remember the total wordcount as I’m writing this, but I know I’d definitely passed 23K. Will continue on this coming week.
This week my Scribd. subscription ran out. I’d been expecting it for days (wasn’t sure exactly which date I’d logged on originally), so I’d been reading short books I could finish in one day and short stories for the last week. Anyway, I’ve now started using my local library eBook service to see what that’s like. So far, so good, although they only have about 5K books so it’ll only be best sellers on my reading list for a while, apart from the books I still have on my Kindle that I haven’t read yet, which I think number about 30 – 40.
